After reading the novel Molly's Pilgrim, my class and I made a pilgrim doll of their ancestor. The class had two weeks to complete the dolls. There were twenty-nine dolls in totals. We used old-fashioned clothespins to make the dolls. The dolls were made out of many different items like felt, velvet, wool, yarn, stickers, wood, hay, clothing, buttons, paint, paper, fabric, toys, and ink. When we were done we shared them with the class and put them on leaves and hung them on our class tree. We also gave an oral report of our ancestor. The oral reports were very interesting. In my opinion, Maddie's and Marcus' were the best ones. I hope you like them too.
